President says he wants to develop entire country

CHAMBWA MOONGA
Chinsali
PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema yesterday charmed students of Kapasa Makasa University (KMU) in Chinsali with his life story of education being part of his becoming President before heading to Nakonde, where he thanked voters for electing him.
The President tipped students to live decently as they pursue their studies.
Before travelling to Nakonde, President Hichilema made a stop-over at KMU and addressed the students, who filled up the amphitheatre.
“I went to UNZA from the village,” he said. “If I didn’t go to school, I know what I would have been doing now. I would have been in the village in Bweengwa [in Monze] with eight wives.
“But because of education, here I am as your servant – as President of Zambia. And I work hard to justify your electing me to this role.”
President Hichilema told the students that he frequently reminds his appointees, ministers included, about the need to work hard for public good..https://enews.daily-mail.co.zm/welcome/home
