Avoid graft practices, Nanjuwa tells HR practitioners

SOUTHERN Province Minister Credo Nanjuwa says alleged corruption should be weeded out in the human resource practice because the profession is critical to steering development of the country.
Mr Nanjuwa has since implored employers to engage qualified and certified personnel in human resource management positions.
“Government is ready to amend any legislation that is required to enhance your performance. I urge you that we work together so that certain vices like corruption in your profession are weeded out,” the minister said.
He was speaking at the non-elective Zambia Institute of Human Resource and Management (ZIHRM) annual general meeting, which opened yesterday.
Mr Najuwa said President Hakainde Hichilema is determined to work with the institute to see to it that unlicensed people are not allowed to practise as human resource officers.
