FIDE Master(FM) Prince Mulenga has declared himself ready for the cage match against International Master (IM) Andrew Kayonde next week.
Mulenga and Kayonde, who faced off in the national chess team trials final phase last month, will play two classical games – eight rapid games and 10 blitz games – from April 12-14 at Urban Hotel in Lusaka.
Kayonde beat Mulenga on his way to winning the final phase with 8.5 points.
“I am really ready for Kayonde. I know it will not be an easy match but I will put up a strong fight. I have played Kayonde a lot now, so I will be fighting to pick up as many wins as I can to come out top,” Mulenga said…https://enews.daily-mail.co.zm/welcome/home
