We snoozed, we lost

COACH Avram Grant says one second of sleeping cost the Chipolopolo victory against Zimbabwe in Saturday’s semifinal fixture at the Four Nation Tournament in Malawi.
Zambia threw away a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 in regulation time before losing 6-5 on post-match penalties at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe.
Grant said at a post-match briefing that his charges played well despite losing.
He said Zambia dominated the match and had a chance to score a third goal but one second of sleeping proved costly.
“I think it was a good game, we started well then we conceded two easy goals. On penalties, anybody can win.
We had a few chances but we missed,” Grant said.  https://enews.daily-mail.co.zm/
