Mines urged to invest in legacy projects

ZAMBIA Chamber of Mines (ZCM) president Godwin Beene has called on mining companies operating in the country to invest in legacy projects that will have a lasting impact in communities when implementing corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
Dr Beene said mining houses should upgrade their CSR projects and programmes by undertaking legacy projects that will uplift the livelihoods of people beyond the mining life.
