Puma Energy targets young people in road safety drive

PUMA Energy Zambia Plc, in collaboration with Amend and Zambia Road Safety Trust (ZRST), has launched a Be Road Safe Africa campaign aimed at promoting road safety among school-going children.
Minister of Transport and Logistics Frank Tayali said according to Zambia Police data, nearly 2,000 lives are lost, with about 10 percent being children, as a result of road traffic accidents.
Speaking during the launch in a speech read for him by Road Transport Safety Agency (RTSA) board chairperson Allen Mate, Mr Tayali said it is imperative that “we join forces and channel our collective resources towards addressing this crisis”.
