MINISTRY of Home Affairs and Internal Security Permanent Secretary Dickson Matembo is happy that Department of Immigration has taken the front seat in digitalising its system aimed at improving service delivery.
Mr Matembo said his ministry will support the department in its plan to roll out the digitalised system and upgrade Zambia Immigration Management System from the current ZIMS 3.0 to ZIMS 4.0.
“I’m delighted to note that you have continued to be a leading example in the digitalisation of government services aimed to improve service delivery and that you plan to upgrade to ZIM 4.0 to further improve your service to the public,” Mr Matembo said.
This was in a speech read for him by Department of Immigration director-general Japhet Lishomwa at the end of the five-day senior and regional immi-gration officers’ conference on Friday.
