Govt sets aside K30m for youths

GOVERNMENT has set aside K30 million towards youth infrastructure development for the year 2024.
Minister of Youth Sport and Arts Elvis Nkandu said the move is meant to increase youths’ access to skills training.
Mr Nkandu said in an interview that Government is working on having youth resource centres in all the 116 districts of the country because skills development offers both direct and indirect jobs.
“To continuously show our commitment to youths throughout the country, Government has set aside a budget of K30 million this year for youth infrastructure development.
