First Lady exhorts Zambian students

FIRST Lady Mutinta Hichilema has urged Zambian students pursuing their education in Morocco to concentrate on their studies so that they can contribute to the economic development of the country upon their graduation.
Mrs Hichilema said in Rabat, Morocco, on Friday when she interacted with Zambian students that they were the flag-carriers.
“I am happy to meet the students and want to wish you the best in your studies. Your families have sent you here and they are looking forward to you helping when you finish school.
The government is equally happy to send you here so that when you finish school, you can go back and contribute towards the economic development of the country,” she said on her official X (Twitter) social media platform.
Mrs Hichilema said she was glad to learn that there are over 400 Zambians studying in Morocco.
Earlier, the First Lady, in the company of Central African Republic First Lady Brigitte Touadera, visited Mohamed V’s Mausoleum, where they paid respects at the final resting place of three significant members of the Moroccan royal family.
