Ghana-bound athletes talk winning medals

ATHLETES preparing for the Ghana All-Africa Games are confident of winning medals at the 15-day tournament getting underway on March 8.
The athletes representing table tennis, boxing, basketball 3×3 and tennis said in separate interviews yesterday that they are more than ready to make a podium finish.
Boxer Patrick Chinyemba, who has already booked a slot at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, said laying his hands on gold is a must in Ghana.
Chinyemba said he will use the Ghana Games to send a strong message to his would-be opponents at the Paris
showpiece.
