SADC has lost champion of peace

– HH says late Namibian President Geingob was relentless in fostering stability, democracy

PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema says late Namibian President Hage Geingob was available to show fellow leaders ‘certain things that one cannot learn in class’.
During the burial service of the late head of State, President Hichilema said the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and the continent as a whole has lost a champion of peace and democracy.
In a tribute, President Hichilema said Dr Geingob was a negotiator on various peace talks on the African continent.
