Keep eye on your kids, High Commissioner to India tells parents

ZAMBIA’S High Commissioner to India Percy Chanda has appealed to parents and guardians with children pursuing studies in that country to monitor their progress to avert shocking scenarios like them dropping out of school without their knowledge.
And Mr Chanda has appealed to Zambians who are considering sending their children to study in India to take keen interest in the choice of courses they intend to pursue to ensure they align with Zambia’s labour market demands.
He has observed that some students opt to remain in India illegally after dropping out of universities without notifying their families back home.
