EVELYN Hone College principal Cephas Chabu says the free education policy and Constituency Development Fund (CDF) skills development bursaries have impacted positively on student enrolment at the tertiary institution.
In an interview, Mr Chabu said the college has received a number of applications from people who seek to be enrolled through CDF skills bursaries.
He said this year, the institution has registered over 2,600 first-year students who want to pursue various programmes.
Mr Chabu said the courses at the college are getting popular by the day because of, among other things, President Hakainde Hichilema’s passion for education, which has inspired many.
“Just this week, we received a lot of applications on CDF and these are students who want to pursue various programmes such as video production, fashion and design,” he said..https://enews.daily-mail.co.zm/welcome/home
