IT IS inhumane, an act of criminality and unpatriotic for anyone to forge a government document and intentionally circulate it on social media to mislead the public.
Ministry of Home Affairs and Internal Security Permanent Secretary Josephs Akafumba says laws will be applied firmly and to the fullest on individuals and groups of people forging government documents to hoodwink citizens.
Mr Akafumba said in a statement yesterday that Government has noted with concern that some individuals have turned to social media to issue unfounded statements meant to deceive the nation.
“We wish to remind all citizens and the general public that we have a law in place, the Cyber Security and Cyber Crimes Act number 2 of 2021, to take care of wayward behaviour of individuals found wanting,” Mr Akafumba said…https://enews.daily-mail.co.zm/welcome/home
