WHILE there was joy for six mothers at Levy Mwanawasa University Teaching Hospital (LMUTH) after giving birth on New Year’s Day, it was not for one mother, who lost her baby hours after delivery.
Vice-President Mutale Nalumango, who was alerted to Salome Tembo’s situation by hospital staff when she went to deliver hampers to mothers who had given birth to New Year babies, went to her bed-side to comfort her.
The Vice-President offered a prayer and encouraged Ms Tembo to look to God, who gives and takes away life.
“Sorry about the loss of your baby,” Mrs Nalumango said. “God is in control of this situation.”..https://enews.daily-mail.co.zm/welcome/home
