17 roadblocks on 460km stretch?

Dear editor,
THIS is a nation of roadblocks. From Livingstone to Zimba, before Kalomo, after Kalomo, before Choma, after Choma, Pemba, Chisekese, Monze, before Mazabuka and 10 miles after Mazabuka…
And then here is the crazy part, Mwanamainda, Kafue Bridge, just before Kafue town, Shimabala, Chilanga, 17 roadblocks on a 460km stretch at an average of 27.05 kilometres apart!
Can someone please explain this inconvenience with long queues created by these senseless checkpoints?
Actually, I would like to find out from the Zambia Police commissioner, why there are so many roadblocks on one route.
