SYLVESTER CHISHIMBA, Lusaka
JUDOKA Simon Zulu will miss the World Cadet Judo Championship set for Chile after the Zambia Judo Association (ZJA) failed to

secure a visa.
Zulu qualified for the tournament, which kicked off on Wednesday in Santiago, after winning a gold medal at the 2017 Youth Commonwealth Games in Nassau, Bahamas.
ZJA general secretary Mabvuto Ng’uni confirmed in an interview in Lusaka yesterday that Zulu will not travel to Chile because they failed to secure a visa.
“We could not manage to get him [Zulu] a visa to enable him to travel to Chile. Since we do not have an embassy here in Zambia, we had written to the Chile Judo Federation to help us get a visa but they also could not help and advised us to find a country which had their embassy and get from there,” Ng’uni said.
