ZAMBIA Revenue Authority (ZRA) has started undertaking comprehensive compliance reviews to ensure taxpayers’ declarations are consistent for the last three years.
In this regard, ZRA has introduced a data matching-based compliance and enforcement programme following the expiry of the time-to-pay agreements under the amnesty on June 30, 2018.
ZRA Commissioner General Kingsley Chanda said the objective of the exercise is aimed at verifying the reliability of all tax types of taxpayers’ declarations on the database.
The programme is being done by means of cross-matching domestic tax statistics on tax-online and http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
