THE Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) says Daily Meat Products Limited has allegedly evaded tax payment of over K1.2 million for two years by falsifying invoices to facilitate smuggling of goods into the country.

Daily Meat Products Limited allegedly evaded tax from January 2015 to November 27, 2017 when ZRA pounced on the company following investigations into its operations.
ZRA corporate communications manager Topsy Sikalinda said in a statement yesterday that the company has allegedly been undervaluing and falsifying invoices to facilitate smuggling of goods into Zambia.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
