ZAMBIA National Farmers’ Union (ZNFU) has urged Government to directly fund the Food Reserve Agency (FRA) to enable farmers to receive their payments on time.Currently, FRA is funded through the Ministry of Finance which allocates, to the Ministry of Agriculture.
ZNFU president Jervis Zimba said that in the absence of the FRA not paying farmers on time, the Farmer Input Support Programme (FISP) will fail to attain desired objectives.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
