ZNFU defends self over K34 million

ALVIN CHIINGA, Lusaka
THE Zambia National Farmers Union (ZNFU) has refuted allegations by Finland and Sweden that some individuals allegedly misapplied K34 million donor funds for the Core Support Programme (CSP) for agriculture.
ZNFU 1st vice-president Richard Lisimba said at a press briefing in Lusaka yesterday that: “The K34 million that has been reported in the media emanates from the EMM report whose credibility was questioned and the report set aside. We made our comments on the various findings of the KPMG and we do not agree with the opinion of KPMG.”
Mr Lisimba was responding to the KPMG Finland audit report, findings, which exposes misappropriation of funds at ZNFU.READ MORE
