ZNBS commits to promoting financial inclusion

KELLY NJOMBO, Lusaka
THE Zambia National Building Society (ZNBS) will continue to develop financial products that respond to the need of its customers to promote financial inclusion in the country.
Financial inclusion is the delivery of financial services at affordable costs to sections of disadvantaged and low-income segments of society where those services are not available or affordable.
ZNBS public relations officer Chanda Mubanga said customers remain critical in building the company’s growth and that it is important to recognise their significance by responding to their needs.
In commemorating the Customers’ Appreciation Day, Mr Chanda pledged yesterday that ZNBS would remain committed to contributing to economic growth by providing financial inclusion among the public, as well as reward its loyal customers.
“As ZNBS, we don’t have to be reminded on the importance of keeping our customers happy, because one of the most important achievements of any company is remarkable customer appreciation. With constant demand to deliver new products, it is vital to come up with products that respond to our customers’ needs,.” he said.
Zambia is celebrating the global Customer Service Week, which falls on October 2-5, as way to recognise and appreciate the importance of customers in a country.
