Zesco seeks to optimise call centre facility

ZESCO Limited, which has reached an advanced stage in upgrading its national call centre, has acquired an additional 30 licences at a cost of €40,000.
Company director for commercial and customer services Chiti Mataka said in an interview at the just-ended Zambia International Trade Fair (ZITF) that the additional 30 call centres traffic management system licences will bring the total number to 60.
“Our vendor for call centre traffic management system, Alcaserv, a subsidiary of Alcatel in France, will issue us with 30 more licences by August this year. We want to get to a point of optimal performance,’’ Mr Mataka said.
