ZESCO 2 KITWE 1
DEFENDING champions Zesco United yesterday edged Kitwe United in a thrilling Super Division Week 33 encounter to open up an eight-point lead with five rounds remaining.
“It was a tough match but we needed these points and we are very excited about this win. We seem to be fighting for our wins. We have been thriving on our wins and we are working as a team,” an excited Zesco assistant coach Alfred Lupiya said in an interview.
Kenya striker Jesse Were’s second-half brace pushed Zesco to 73 points, eight clear of second-placed Nkana and Green Buffaloes who are third.
After a barren first half, Zesco broke the deadlock on 76 minutes http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
