ZESCO United load shed themselves yesterday as their poor away record continued when they were held by Jeshi la Kujenga Uchumi (JKU) of Zanzibar in the CAF Champions League preliminary round first leg, while Zanaco thumped Gambia Armed Forces 3-0 to be assured of a first round berth.

The draw was Zesco’s 11th on their travels and they need to beat the Islanders in the return leg in Ndola this Saturday to progress.
