ZESCO United yesterday crushed out of the CAF Champions League in the most unfashionable style after failing to win a home match in the group stage and coach George Lwandamina said the Ndola side has learnt valuable lessons.
Zesco yesterday drew 1-1 with Tunisian side Etoile du Sahel to finish third with six points in Group D.
Leaders Etoile have 12 points, Primeiro Agosto of Angola, who beat eSwatini’s Mbabane Swallows 2-1 to qualify for the quarter-finals, finished with nine.
Swallows were tailenders with four points.
