ZEMA gives green light for 6 projects

THE Zambia Environmental Management Agency (ZEMA) has approved projects from six sectors worth over US$5 billion, with infrastructure development sector accounting for the largest chuck.
The multi-million dollar projects, which are from various developers, were approved last month.
In response to a query, ZEMA manager for corporate affairs Irene Lungu Chipili, however, said that the committee deferred three projects.
Mrs Chipili said none of the applicants were rejected during the period under review.
