ABHISHEK Patel and Trishna Patel brought one of DSTV’s popular channels Zee World to Chingola last Tuesday when they tied the knot at a wedding, which attracted business moguls from Chingola, Kitwe and Ndola.
Abhishek, 25, is a computer scientists and his wife Trishna, 21, is an accountant by profession and wore Indian wedding attire.
Typical Zee World!
The couple were both born in Chingola and chose to hold their wedding ceremony in the place of their birth. They have since relocated to Kitwe.
The wedding was blessed by a Hindu priest, who recited the (Puja) wedding prayers and other traditional rituals. The puja was all conducted in Hindi by the priest, who wore white Indian traditional attire.
It was the same situation from the business moguls, ranging from the Europeans to Zambian women, who also wore the saris as they attended the wedding event.
Abhishek and Trishna were all a happy mood, even joining the audience on the dance floor after wedding vows.
The event was not short of entertainment as Grant Chipunka, popularly known as Shimpundu.com, who was the master of ceremonies, took charge of the Chingola-made ‘Zee-world’ wedding.
Zee World, owned by Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL), India’s leading television, media and entertainment company, is the first of its kind fully-dubbed English channel showcasing Bollywood movies, series, reality and variety shows and many more action-packed content.
