THE Zambia Export Development Fund (ZEDF) will continue to provide low-cost working capital finance to non-traditional exporters in an effort to have local products penetrate regional and international markets.
ZEDF manager David Chewe said the fund offers working capital finance, pre- and post-shipment financing, among others.
He said this after the closure of a consultative workshop for exporters who are expected to export fresh produce to the South African market.
ZEDF is servicing sectors like primary agriculture, agro-processing, gemstone mining, horticulture and floriculture, among others.
The consultative workshop looked at how exporters can take advantage of the South African market.
