VICE-PRESIDENT Inonge Wina says Government will enhance the capacity of Zambia Agriculture Research Institute (ZARI) to fight the outbreak of armyworms so that its research work can benefit peasant farmers.
Mrs Wina said there is a lot of work being done at ZARI but most people, especially peasant farmers, do not know about this.
“I urge ZARI to work together with the Disaster Management and Mitigation Unit to fight the outbreak of armyworms. The good thing is that ZARI has experts already who are vested with knowledge in eradicating armyworms,” Mrs Wina said.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
