WE HAVE been made aware of the complaint from Mr Timothy Kambilima of Luanshya to Zambia Daily Mail regarding the quality of service in relation to the 2017 Grade Seven and Nine examination results.
As Zamtel, we did communicate to our subscribers via SMS and social media platforms over the matter.
As a customer centric organisation, we have already started the process of refunding those who unsuccessfully used the service.
Below is the statement we posted on our Facebook page on December 27, 2017 which you could use for reference.
Kindly be informed that Zamtel has been experiencing a service outage which has resulted in customers failing to access the Examinations Council of Zambia (ECZ) Results on short code 8383.
Our IT and technical team, together with ECZ, are still investigating the cause of the link failure and currently working around the clock to have the service restored.
