Zambia’s land secure from external intrusion

STEVEN MVULA, Parliament
VICE-PRESIDENT Inonge Wina yesterday told Parliament that there are no foreign troops on Zambian soil as feared and believed by some people in Sesheke district, Western Province.
Mrs Wina said some Zambians seem not to understand the international boundaries shared by Namibia, Angola and Zambia.
“The issue of foreign troops on Zambian soil in Imushi [ward in Sesheke] is not valid. Government investigated these reports when they first surfaced and found them not to be valid. If indeed these reports were true, Government would have moved in a long time ago,” she said.
