Zambia’s HIV infections drop, United Nations told

ZAMBIA has recorded a reduction in new HIV infections from 77,500 in 2010 to 46,000 in 2016.Ministry of Health national HIV programme manager Lloyd Mulenga told the United Nations (UN) on Wednesday that the reduction has been possible because of Zambia’s political will to fight the HIV/AIDS pandemic.
Dr Mulenga said since the beginning of the epidemic, Zambia has mounted a resolute, robust and durable multi-sectoral response to the fight against the pandemic.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
