GOVERNMENT has implored Zambians to fast and participate in prayers in the commemoration of the Day of National Prayer, which falls this Tuesday.
Last year, President Lungu declared October 18 a public holiday to be observed as a day of National Prayer, Fasting, Repentance and Reconciliation.
Secretary to Cabinet Roland Msiska said in a statement that this year’s commemoration will be held at Woodlands Forest Reserve at which President Lungu is expected to lay a foundation stone which will mark the construction of the National House of Prayer.READ MORE
