Zambians must embrace diversity in unity – Wina

GOVERNMENT will continue upholding national values, principles and ethics in Zambia’s development agenda while promoting citizen ownership and participation, Vice-President Inonge Wina has said.
Mrs Wina said Government, through the Seventh National Development Plan, promotes the inculcation of national values and principles in citizens to bring about understanding and dissemination of ethics enshrined in the Constitution.
She said members of the public should embrace each other and live in unity regardless of their cultures, race or ethnic grouping.
Mrs Wina said this yesterday in a speech read for her by the Minister in the Office of the Vice-President Sylvia Chalikosa at the Zambia-United Nations Day celebrations at the International School of Lusaka.
