Zambian men win, women tumble

ROBINSON KUNDA, Lusaka
ZAMBIA men’s chess team yesterday launched the hunt for medals at the World Olympiads in Baku, Azerbaijan, on a bright note with victory over Gambia.
However, the story was different for the women’s team who lost 4-0 to France.
The Zambian team was in a buoyant mood and won 4 -0 despite resting skipper and International Master (IM) Andrew Kayonde.READ MORE
