PRESIDENT Lungu says his visit to Japan will scale up the bilateral cooperation that the two countries enjoy.
Speaking to journalists at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport yesterday shortly before his departure, Mr Lungu said the two countries will also review their long-time friendship.
“I would have gone to Japan a year or two years ago, and now that I am going there, there are one or two issues that we are going to discuss,” he said.
Mr Lungu said he wants the current cooperation between Zambia and Japan to go beyond the current status.
