Zambia scales up agri practices

ZAMBIA is one of the many African countries that have made strategic advances in the upscaling of smart agricultural farming practices to meet the increasing food demand.
Other countries on the continent that have advanced in upscaling smart agricultural farming are South Africa, Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
According to a statement issued on Thursday by African Conservation Tillage (ACT) Network, currently the demand from global agriculture is to increase the quantity and quality of food and agricultural production, taking care of the environment and using less fossil fuel, among others.
