ZAMBIA and South Africa have launched a joint trade and investment committee to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
This follows President Lungu’s visit to South Africa in December last year aimed at deepening bilateral co-operation through annual consultations under the newly inaugurated Joint Commission for Co-operation.
Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry permanent secretary Kayula Siame said South Africa remains one of Zambia’s largest partners, accounting for most imports.
