Zambia moves up

ZAMBIA has moved 16 rungs on the latest FIFA Coca Cola World rankings released yesterday.
The 2012 African champions are now ranked 15th in Africa and 62nd globally from last month’s 20th and 78th respectively.
Zambia’s significant rise is because of the Chipolopolo’s impressive performance against Mozambique and Cape Verde in the just ended 2015 Equatorial Guinea Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Algeria remain the top ranked team on the continent with Tunisia moving to the second position while Herve Renard-tutored Ivory Coast are perched third.
