Zambia heads regional arm of Road Fund

ZAMBIA has been elected to lead the African Road Maintenance Fund Association Southern Africa Focal Group (ASAFG) because of its remarkable record in road Maintenance.
ASAFG is a regional extension of the African Road Maintenance Funds Association (ARMFA), a 34-member continental body, whose governance structure comprises Southern, Western, Eastern, and Central African Focal Groups that share a platform for best practices in road maintenance funds management in Africa.
Zambia was elected by seven out of the eight member countries at the just-ended ASAFG meeting in Maseru, Lesotho
