ZAMBIA and China will this week start cultural and business promotion road shows in seven cities of China to enhance Zambia’s visibility and deepen co-operation between the two countries.
The road show is scheduled to run from October 10 to November 5, 2016.
According to a statement availed to the Daily Mail by the Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) on Friday, Government will undertake the show through the agency in collaboration with Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry, Ministry of Tourism ,the Zambian embassy in China with support from the Chines Ministry of Foreign Affairs among others .
“The purpose of the road show is to enhance Zambia’s visibility in China and deepen co-operation between Zambia and China in areas of trade, investment, tourism and culture as well further promote people to people exchange between the two countries,†the statement reads.
ZDA says the show will run alongside the business seminars which will highlight Zambia’s Tourism, Investment and Trade opportunities.
The agency has, therefore, has invited Zambia National Farmers’ Union members to be part of the delegation that will travel to China to attend this important roadshow on the dates stated.
