Zambia draws Uganda, Namibia

ZAMBIA has been pitted against East African powerhouse Uganda at the 2014 Africa Netball Championship starting in Gaborone on Monday.
According to the draws released by Netball Association of Zambia (NAZ) general secretary Pritchard Ngoma, Namibia and Swaziland are the other teams in Group B.
Uganda are ranked fourth in Africa, Zambia fifth, Namibia and Swaziland are eighth and 12th respectively.
And Ngoma said from Gaborone yesterday that the team arrived safely on Thursday morning.
Ngoma said the team that is lodged at MSA Apartments had its first training session yesterday.
Group A has hosts Botswana, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Kenya.
The eight countries are fighting for the remaining two slots allocated to Africa at the 2015 World Cup.
African champions Malawi and South Africa have already qualified to the World Cup.
