Zambia, Botswana declare ‘war’

ZAMBIA and Botswana have declared war against perpetrators of trans-national crimes that includes illicit drug trafficking, smuggling of goods and poaching along the common border.
Minister of Defence Davies Chama said there is need to join hands to defeat the menace of trans-national threats that include among other activities poaching, terrorism, smuggling and human trafficking.
“There is need to review our strategies for combating these threats and develop new approaches that will ensure continued peace and security in the two sister countries,” he said.READ MORE
