Zambia advised not to worry

ZAMBIA should not panic over the Eurobond repayment as maturity is almost four years away, giving enough time to pay back the securities, Citibank Group says.
Citibank head of debt markets for East and Central Europe, Middle East and Africa Samad Sirohey said while planning for debt repayment is necessary, there is no need for alarm.
Zambia issued three Eurobonds of US$750 million, US$1 billion and US$1.25 billion which fall due in 2022 and 2024 and 2025, respectively.
