Zambezi Magic turns up the romance

WITH February being the month of love, Zambezi Magic channel on DStv 165 is turning up the romance with the addition of two new telenovelas premiering tomorrow.
In a statement made available to the Weekend Mail by MultiChoice Zambia, the two productions, Caribbean Flower and Champs 12, will take viewers on a journey filled with adventure, love, betrayal, revenge and all other fascinating shenanigans that are synonymous with telenovelas.
“Telenovelas are like an addictive worldwide phenomenon when it comes to daytime television viewing and we are very excited to be adding these two onto our viewing line-up,” says head of Zambezi Magic Addiel Dzinoreva.
“We hope our viewers will appreciate the diversity of programming that we are bringing to the channel and soon, we will be the one stop shop for all entertainment viewing in Southern Africa.”
Caribbean Flower is a moving story of love and adventure between the air force fighter pilot Cassiano and tour guide Ester. The two have been in love since they were just kids but all changes when they suffer a betrayal from Alberto, a false friend who manages to get his rival out of the way and achieve his secret dream.
It will air from Mondays to Thursdays at 13:30 hours with repeats at 04:00 hours and the Omnibus on Saturdays at 13:00 hours.
In Champs 12, Young Charlotte, who used to be the fat girl in the neighbourhood, cannot forget the ridicule she suffered at the hands of Gonzalo and his friends when she was 12.
She is determined to avenge her humiliation and becomes the proud owner of the soccer club where Gonzalo is a star player. Now, as a stunning beauty, she plans to make his life miserable, until love changes her plans completely.
The production will show from Mondays to Fridays at 11:30 hours with repeats at 02:00 hours.
