OUR youths should wake up. As a youth activist, I feel for youths in many African countries who are used to propel other people’s political interests.
Today, if we asked many of them as to why they are involved in xenophobic attacks in South Africa, we would not get a satisfactory answer. In many other African countries, youths are used as political tools.
I urge them to demand for their rightful position in African affairs. This position is where they are practically looked at as equal partners in development.
