Young Green Eagles remain demoted

THE Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) disciplinary committee has upheld the ruling of the players’ status committee which saw Young Eagles docked points for using an ineligible player.
This means Young Eagles have been relegated as earlier ruled, with Indeni, who were momentarily demoted pending hearing of the disciplinary committee, surviving the drop to National Division One.
A source within FAZ told Sports Mail that the disciplinary committee ruled against Young Eagles when it recently sat.
“Young Eagles have lost the matter and they want to appeal,” the source said.
