World Vision drills 20 boreholes

WORLD Vision Zambia has drilled over 20 boreholes and constructed 20 pit latrines at a cost of K1.3 million in Nyimba district in Eastern Province.
The boreholes have been drilled in villages to improve water supply to the local people while pit latrines have been constructed in selected schools.

Speaking during the handover ceremony of the pit latrines on Thursday last week,World Vision Zambia associate director Marjike Zimba said the organisation remains committed to investing in clean and safe water and sanitation.

Ms Zimba said the organisation will continue to partner with Government to address some of the challenges citizens are facing in various districts.
