Worker testifies DEC finding cannabis lab

A WITNESS has told the Lusaka Magistrate’s Court that an indoor cannabis laboratory was discovered in a prayer room of a South African man charged with trafficking in psychotropic substances.

This is a case in which Kabir Magan, 33, a South African of Indian origin of house number 35 on Buluwe Road, Woodlands, Lusaka, is charged with four counts of trafficking in psychotropic substances.
Magan is alleged to have unlawfully cultivated cannabis, possessed instruments for administering drugs and permitted unlawful use of drugs at his home contrary to the Laws of Zambia.
